Genome data usage policy (11th October 2015)

The raw sequenced data and analyses from the genome sequencing project are rapidly made available to the public as a community resource. As the genome sequencing projects were generated in timely effort, we would like to ask the user to respect the rights of first publication and acknowledgement as outlined in The Wellcome Trust Report: Sharing Data From Large-Scale Biological Research Projects - 2003: A System of Tripartite Responsibility. We welcome collaborative interaction on the related fungal research project.

By accessing the data, the user agrees not to publish any articles prior to the publication by our group without the consent from the principal investigator. The user must get the consent from the principal investigator via The user is required to include the contact information (full name, institution name, institution address, phone number) and description of the analysis that the user would like to be conducted. This is to ensure that the publication does not jeopardise with our research project.

If these data are used for publication, please cite as: "Dematiaceous Fungi Sequencing Project, DemaDB, University Malaya (". Please note that this policy statement may be revised or changed from time to time where we deem necessary.
